Category winner

At the recent 2023 Pride in Print awards, Excel Digital was the recipient of three gold medals, and three highly recommended recognitions and was the Category Winner for the Sustainability & Wellness Category. The judges commented,

“Excel have lived up to their name and shown leadership in the areas of wellness and sustainability with a range of initiatives to support staff and to reduce their impact on the environment.”

We are particularly delighted about taking out the Wellness & Sustainability honour as it cements that we are on the right track regarding how we treat our wonderful staff and the decisions we make regarding our environment.

We have a long-running aim to be the most sustainable digital printing brand in New Zealand and have been unwavering in our dedication to this goal. For us, sustainability is a journey, and we are committed to continuously improving our sustainability practices.

Sustainability has been part of our DNA for many years. We have been a member of the Toitū Enviromark programme since 2013, being Gold-certified since 2017. Additionally, we are a Toitū net carbonzero company, are FSC-certified, and recently became a certified Living Wage Company.

Reflecting on the award, Guy Phillips, Excel Digital’s Managing Director, said,

“It’s the small things that matter to us. We live by a set of values; we care about human connection and believe this is at the heart of the relationship we build with each other and our client base. By understanding and truly caring about what matters to them, we can continue to deliver what they need and more.”
